Wispeco

Wispeco Namibia is the largest manufacturer and distributor of steel windows, door frames, garage doors and garage door motors in Namibia. They are also one of the largest distributors of aluminium window and door profiles in Namibia and recently entered the Alternative building industry with the world acclaimed Vela Building System. Wispeco Namibia currently has a warehouse and sales facilities in Windhoek, Swakopmund and Ondangwa enabling them to successfully service the Namibian Market.

Wispeco Namibia was established in 1968 and has shown steady growth since then. In 1995 Wispeco Namibia became an independent Namibian owned company and in 2003 they sold the majority of their shares to a South African group called Duro Pressings who is the largest manufacturer of steel windows in South Africa and manufactures out of 4 factories in South Africa. This enabled Wispeco Namibia to further increase their market share due to the addition of world class products and resources offered by Duro Pressings. In 2009 the Frans IndongoGroup seized the opportunity to acquire shares in Wispeco Namibia and in doing so established Wispeco as a truly Namibian company.
